Class Dojo is Schoolwide!

Posted Date: 8/25/25 (5:34 PM)

We are excited to share that we are using Class Dojo schoolwide again this year!  I am sharing a few quick points of information about how we will use it this year:

  • Class Dojo is an online classroom management tool that helps teachers create a positive learning environment by tracking and rewarding student behavior. In our classrooms, it is used to encourage positive choices by awarding points for showing positive behaviors throughout the day.
  • Students can also receive “needs work” points for negative behaviors such as not following directions, being off task, or showing disrespect, which helps them reflect on their actions and make better choices moving forward.
  • Parents will be invited to join their student’s class or classes using a code provided by the teacher.
  • Once connected, you can view updates on your child’s behavior throughout the day.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: ClassDojo will be used only for tracking behavior. Any questions or communications should be directed to your student’s teacher through ParentSquare, email, or phone, not through Class Dojo.  Teachers will not respond to any messages that are sent through Class Dojo.
  • If there are significant concerns regarding your child's behavior, their teacher will reach out to contact parents/guardians to follow up as we normally would. Class Dojo is not intended to be used to communicate regarding disciplinary infractions, only to monitor daily behavior, unless otherwise contacted by the teacher or school administration.
Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions.  Thank you for your support of our school!
